Semillas Cantina: A Mexican Oasis for Food and Drinks in Chino Hills

Semillas Cantina in Chino Hills is the new Spot to be at! Located in the shoppes. New and improved location. I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is vibrant and the staff is incredibly friendly. The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic Mexican dishes, and everything I tried was bursting with flavor. The taquitos were a personal favorite, along with loaded quesadillas and green enchiladas were on point. The margaritas were top-notch. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, they have something for everyone. The service was prompt and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner or a fun night out with friends singing Karoake on Wednesdays, DJ nights on weekends at Semillas Cantina is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings!

Way too many good things to say about this place. Let me start here; it is SOOOO much better than what Limericks was. But that’s just a side note! I had my 30th birthday party here in their private event section which was a total hit. Their setup in general is just totally amazing, we had our private event room and also rented out the top deck area that has a pool table. We set up our Photo Booth and food section there. The manager, Kemo (spell check?) has the BEST customer service & is a super down to earth person. I am happy to have given them our business. We had the pleasure of having Danny as our party bartender, he was quick, friendly & made the drinks taste super amazing! We got TONS of compliments on our event overall, literally no complaints except that it got quite hot in the event space but we had a lot of people and it was a hot day in general. I’d host future events here for sure. The food was also perfect, literally so tasty. We had tacos, taquitos, burritos, rice beans etc. the staff was on it the entire time & kept our space clean. I seriously have too many good things to say about this place and the staff here. Thank you semillas !!!

Delicious food for a reasonable price and amazing service. They have a lot of different promotions here that are very good deals. The food was very tasty with reasonable price. Their complementary chips and salsa are very delicious and they have amazing tacos. Definitely check out their chalkboard that’s outside since they always have good deals that you don’t want to miss out on.

Birria was so nice and tender, just melted at the bite. Fun, festive, and loud music… it’s nice for a big group gathering.

Loved the Mariachi band for the grand opening! The French toast, churros, chilaquiles, fajitas (and all the meat!!) in the all you can eat Sunday brunch were delicious. All you can drink mimosas sound good too!! I want to make this our go-to brunch spot. Great place to just have a low key but delicious brunch with good food, plenty of seating, and friendly staff. I’ll be back for $1 taco Tuesdays too!

Wow! Loved it, if you are in the area, definitely worth checking out. As we don't get amazing mexican food in London this was really nice! When we're back in LA we will be visiting again! Thanks guys

This is a hidden gem with excellent food! The wait staff have great personalities. Of the items we ordered, we haven't tasted better anywhere else. While everyone is waiting for an hour for there table elsewhere, come try out this new restaurant and bar. Many authentic Latin foods and fun drink choices. Definitely a new favorite restaurant! Wow!

Such a great improvement from the previous restaurant ! The food is 10/10 . The drinks are delicious, and the service was great . When we got there it was slow but there was only 1 guy helping the bar area and dining but he was so attentive and made delicious margaritas! Had one of the best tacos I’ve had una while . We also loved their $1 tacos for taco Tuesday ! They are small , but I mean that’s to be expected for $1 and they were way better than other taco Tuesday specials I’ve had . There were so many other food items and drinks I wanted to try so definitely will be coming back here !
